Hot Yoga Pants
Are you considering hot yoga pants for hot yoga?
Why our Divine Goddess hot yoga pants are unique
It’s unusual for you not to get hot when you’re practicing hot yoga – it’s in the name. Hard work in hot rooms can bring the heat right up, so you want to wear something which lets your skin breathe. Everyone knows that shorts are better in the heat. Our hot yoga pants are all quick drying too, so they’re great for a dip in the pool to cool down after a heated session.
No matter what type of yoga you’re practicing, you want Bikram yoga clothes to keep you comfortable. If you’re uncomfortable, that’s all you’ll be able to think about rather than remaining focused and calm. Our Have a Laugh hotpants even have a gather at the side so you can wear them how you like: full length for coverage, super short for keeping cool, and anything in between.
Our eco-friendly pants for hot yoga are created with non-toxic Oeko Tex Planet Approved inks that do not need washing. This means that we are saving approximately 30 litres of water with each and every pair. They’re breathable, eco-friendly, sustainable and high performing. We also sell pants from our friends at Wolven Threads in the US made from recycled plastic bottles as a part of our ethical yoga clothing range. These use 27.6 recycled plastic bottles for each and every pair of leggings. They also save 1.6 Gallons of water for each pair. How amazing is that? It's just one way we’re doing our little bit for the environment.
Types of hot yoga
If you’re a beginner, you might be wondering what we mean by ‘hot yoga’. There is a wide range to choose from, but here are a few of our favourites:
- Bikram – This focuses on not only different poses but also breathing techniques and set sequences. It takes place in a room heated to 105°F which is believed to improve flexibility and stimulate metabolism to burn extra fat.
- Baptiste Yoga – This is a blend of several different styles, including Bikram, Iyengar, and Ashtanga. The room temperature is normally 90°F and every class will be different based on the teacher and the desire of the students.
- Hot Power Yoga – This is an ‘umbrella’ term for hot yoga as it incorporates a broader range of hot yoga at once, generally set to about 80-100° This is great for someone who wants more variety in their yoga routines as there are a lot more poses available to cover.
