The Beautiful Story Behind Our Yoga Bolsters
Twenty-two years ago, Divine Goddess founders Susi and Gil were on honeymoon in Bali when they met Ibu Dodo, a talented Balinese woman who would become the leading lady behind our beautiful Bolsters. Ibu Dodo made a small batch of 15 Bolsters by hand, marking the beginning of an incredible partnership.
Our Bolsters, once produced in limited batches, now ship by the container load while retaining their hand-crafted charm. The bond with Ibu Dodo and her team has been central to our success and we are so grateful for this ongoing partnership.
During the pandemic, the demand for Bolsters surged. This boom became a lifeline for Ibu Dodo’s team of women, who, isolated by lockdowns, were able to support their families and communities through Bolster sales. Our Bolsters have become symbols of resilience and support.
Hand-filled with raw Kapok, each Bolster reflects the meticulous care of Ibu Dodo and her team, making every piece unique. Our Bolsters are more than a product; they are a celebration of craftsmanship, female empowerment and the enduring power of human connection.
